Rub-a-dub-dub.......

I've said it before and I'll say it again, bath time is one of my favorite times with the boys. I don't know why. Maybe because when they hear the water start, they come running in and they could be fussier than all get out but still get so happy about bath time!

We've had bath robes for them for a while but used them for the first time today. We put them on without a diaper just to see what they'd do (and to get cute pictures). Jayce, of course, peed on the bathroom floor! AYE! But Jaxson did good. We did put diapers on them eventually and still let them run around in their robes. I guess Jayce's is kinda small now but Jaxson's fits good. Looks like we'll be buying another one in the near future that is Jayce's size.

1st 'Real' Haircut.......

I only say 'real' because this was the first time they were at a salon, in a chair, cape and all! The first haircut was done by my Aunt over Christmas. She is a hairdresser and we thought it would be nice for her to have the honor to cut their hair for the first time. It was a little hard with them sitting on our laps, nothing to look at and having everyone staring at them. This time was much better at the salon. They watched baby einstein, laughed at themselves in the mirror and then laughed at each other. They were so good.

Super Saturday!

Just had the itch to take out the camera and snap a few pictures of the boys today. I used to take pictures of the boys monthly and they are now 15 months and I have fallen behind. I used to set up stuff every month and now, that is non existent. I promise I will start up again but after not doing it for 3 months I think, 'what's the use?'. Maybe I'll just do it every 3 months now? They DO have an appointment next week to actually have them taken for the first time since they were born instead of Mommy just taking them!

Last post I got a smiling picture of Jaxson so I had to get one of Jayce! So precious!

Signs........

No, not signs as in the movie but as in baby sign language. Since the boys were 4 or 5 months old, I have been playing the Baby Einstein 'My First Signs' DVD and in the last few months, they really have been catching on. It is great to have some sort of communication with them other than pointing and 'da'.

As of right now:

Jayce - baby, ball, more and eat
Jaxson - ball, more, eat and kiss (well, he sort of does kiss)

They also know some body parts if you ask them. They know their hair, belly, feet and we are currently teaching the parts of their face. They sort of do eyes, ears, nose and mouth, mostly by singing 'head, shoulders, knees and toes'.

They are growing up so fast and I can't believe they will be 15 months tomorrow. Time flies by but it sure has been a pretty good ride so far.

The boys are officially addicted to McDonald's........as every child usually is. We went 2 weeks ago for the first time and have gone a few times since. Mostly for them to run around playland and waste some energy. They have shared our food with us those first few times and today, we decided to get them a happy meal to share, complete with toy and everything.

Who knew a McDonald's toy would be such a hit??
