Can I get a little love?

My hubby was doing the dishes after dinner and I got to play with the boys. They both crawled up on the chair together at the same time and sat there without hitting each other!! I decided to try to pull out the camera to take a few pictures. Usually when I pull it out they scatter towards me trying to take the camera but not this time. They just sat there and continued playing........

After these cute pictures, they started hugging each other! The first time this has ever happened and I had my camera ready!

They even let me get a video of it!!!

Games, inflatables and free reign.....

That's what our Saturday consisted of. We went to Monkey Joe's for part 1 of my niece's birthday celebration. This was the twins first time there and although Jayce didn't love it, Jaxson played enough for the both of them.

I love how the little girl looks like she's ready to grab Jaxson's butt! I think she was just telling him it was his turn next.

P.S. If you are wondering about Jaxson's black eye, I did not hit my child!! He came up behind the cat, spooked her which scared him and he fell. That is all..........

STOP! Hammer time......

Jaxson has since discovered his hammer. He has been hammering everything............including the cat! Thankfully they are so tolerant to the kiddos.

These boys are growing up way to fast for me some days but all in all, it's been a fun ride so far! Can't wait to see what's next!

Snow Day Fun!

Who always believes the weatherman?? Right? I mean, 20 inches of snow! Seriously??

This is what I woke up to:

not being able to fully see out of the front window

and our cars literally stuck in the snow!

Maybe the weatherman was right this time!!!

Alley access = Not leaving for at least 3-4 hours

No snowblower = Not going anywhere for at least 7-8 hours

No babysitter = SNOW DAY!!!!

And what better way to start a snow day than to get messy with pop tarts?

My hubby and I put the twins down for their morning nap and ventured outside to see how much we could shovel. We got the walkway from the back door to the alley and a strip (literally a strip) behind both of our cars. We decided to stop there since plows still haven't come through the alley and if we shoveled, they'd just snow us in again by plowing so we are now waiting.

We DID see a plow go through the street in front of our house............or at least attempt to! He got stuck, backed up and went back down the plowed path he already made for himself. He came back an hour later and finally plowed but the alley remains untouched.

I am going to relax today, do nothing and nap when the kids do. That is my perfect snow day!
